Rep. Ron Reynolds Advances to May 24, 2016 Primary Election Runoff
A big "Thank You" to all of our supporters! We are so very appreciative and humbled by the degree to which you rallied behind our campaign.
With 48.46 percent of the votes, our campaign was just shy of the 50 percent majority needed to clinch the primary.
A runoff of the top two candidates is required. I will need your help on May 24, to vote again to re-elect me as State Representative for District 27 in the primary runoff. Early election for the primary runoff is May 16-20. Any non-registered voter must be registered to vote by April 25, to vote in the primary runoff.
I am so very appreciative and humbled by your support, prayers, words of encouragement, volunteerism, and for turning out to vote! Despite having three strong challengers and being last on the ballot, we ran a clean, positive campaign and led the race with 7,746 votes.
I also want to commend Angelique Bartholomew for finishing second with 24.12 percent of the vote, and Steve Brown and Chris Henderson for running hard-fought campaigns.
We have the momentum!
I look forward to working with all of you again to finish the election with a victory on May 24!
In service I remain,
State Representative, District 27
